Kitchen sink with maximal space

The cost-effective and high-quality Lapetek Lavin sink family includes two sizes for kitchens and utility rooms, of which the larger model is also available as an undermount version in gold and brass finishes. The sinks are made from stronger-than-usual material, making them sturdier than average in all respects. The overflow with the logo is positioned to the side of the faucet line, providing space for faucet installation. The minimalist design combined with an optimally small corner radius makes the Lavin 6-U easy to keep clean. All in all, the sink has a solid and high-quality feel, which you can experience while using it. The small rounding of its corners (R25 mm) and the large depth of the sink (200 mm) create a modern look and make the sink spacious and practical.

The Lavin 6-U fits in a 60 cm sink cabinet and is incredibly spacious due to its design. You can use the sink to wash large pots and baking trays as well as to prepare food. Practical accessories fit on top of the sink, and thanks to the width of the bowl, there is still plenty of room, for example, for filling a pot placed at the bottom of the sink with water.

The Lavin 6-U is installed from below the countertop, leaving no visible rim on the worktop surface. The sink is also very installation-friendly, leaving room to adjust its position inside the cabinet. Instructions for attaching the sink can be found in the Installation and Operating Instructions.

Lavin accessories

Bamboo is a cutting board made from a natural material. The fast-growing reed plant is practically an inexhaustible raw material that is exceptionally well-suited as a cutting board material due to its antibacterial properties. Bamboo absorbs little moisture, is durable and long-lasting, and does not dull the knife blade during food preparation. The cutting board is sized to fit securely into the sink. However, due to the natural material, each cutting board is unique, and minor dimensional differences may occur compared to the given dimensions. The cutting board is cleaned by wiping with a damp kitchen cloth or by washing by hand with a mild detergent. Do not soak the cutting board in water and always dry it thoroughly with a clean kitchen towel after cleaning. Treat the board with mineral oil from time to time.

PVD-Coated Stainless Steel Sink Material

PVD, short for Physical Vapor Deposition, is a vacuum coating process that creates an elegant coloured thin-film finish on the surface of a stainless steel sink. The coating hardens the surface and forms a thin layer that will not chip, peel or fade over time. PVD is a clean, dry and non-polluting process that produces no hazardous by-products.

PVD coated sinks can withstand normal use and wear, but heavy objects such as cast iron pans and large pots should be handeled with wear on the sink surfaces. When sliding on the surface of the sink, heavy and rough objects scratch the surface of all stainless steel sinks, wheter it is regular of PVD coated colored steel. The formation of marks and wear of the color is part of the normal wear and tear that occurs when using the sink. Hot water or mild detergents will not damage the surface of the sink.
